Hello everybody, sorry for M.I.A last night, been caught up with work till I can't even lift a spoon (told ya am a drama queen). Okay you guys today I will write an entry to make up with what I didn't write yesterday. Today I will share with you guys how this 2 scrooglike aliens spend our holidays. FYI both of me and my buddy love to have short getaway from our busy life. We love to enjoy and relax during our holiday.
As middle class citizen, we always spend most of our time working in order to survive in our career and we also keep saving our money as a breadwinner of the family, but still we need to relieve stress and to appreciate ourself with what we passion for. We love to look around and feel the nature . So lets start with my tips to have budget holidays.
1st : You guys need to know how much you willing to pay for the holidays so as for ours, must be less than RM 300, or much lesser ( a must). As for our trips we went, we spent as cheaper as we can :
Langkawi : Flight fee (RM 140) + bus (RM 48 from malacca to KLIA 2) + chalet (RM 165 for 3 days) + snorkelling (RM240 pulau payar) + car (RM160 for 3 days with full tank) + mahsuri (RM20) + food (RM 200) + gas (RM 30) + gift (RM40) = RM 1043 (RM 521.50 per person)
Tethered balloon : Gas (RM 70 full tank) + toll (< RM 20 nilai exit) + food (RM 50 it was carnival of course we ate a lot) = RM 140 (RM 70 per person)
Pantai Cermin PD : Gas (RM 70 full tank) + food (RM 50) = RM 120 (RM 60 per person)
Tg. Balau , Desaru Johor : Gas (RM 100) + Chalet (RM180) + food (RM 50) + toll (RM 80) = RM 410 (RM 205 per person)
Aquaria : Gas (RM 70) + toll (RM 50) + entrance fee (RM 60 student price less RM 8) + food (RM50) = RM 230 (RM 115 per person)
I City : Gas (RM 70) + toll (RM 70) + Rides (RM 60) + food (RM 60) = RM 190 (RM 95 per person)
Malacca Sky Tower : Entrance fee (RM 36) + food (RM 30) + picture (RM 45) = RM 111 (RM 55.50 per person)
Pantai Puteri : food (RM 30) = RM 30 (RM 15 per person)
and many more.
2nd : You must work hard to find cheaper place to stay and cheaper traveling fair . As for both of us, we nailed ourself in front of computer to find it until we find it or we will survey after we reach to our destination till we find the suitable price.
3rd : You must be discipline not to spend more than your budget, as for us 'scrooglike aliens' that's only small matter.
4th : You must think that your holiday is for you to relax, enjoy and feel the nature therefore any negative nuance need to put aside and don't burden yourself with money matter just because you want to have exclusive holiday when you only need 'holiday'.
5th : Lastly, forget everything this is your getaway so you must be relax and live in your world for a while.
